In order to deliver the best experience to you, we need to make sure you have all the necessary preferences set properly on your device and on the devices of your group members.
Please make sure to:
1. Configure Zone Alerts (Family Locator app menu --> Zone Alerts).
2. Keep Family Locator folded in the background (don't close the app).
3. Refrain from using the battery saving mode.
4. Update to the latest version of Family Locator.
If the steps above don't resolve the issue, a clean reinstall is the best way to ensure the app has all the necessary permissions to function:
- Uninstall: Remove the Family Locator app from your device.
- Reinstall: Download the app again from your official app store.
- Grant Permissions: Upon opening the app, please Allow all requested permissions to ensure the app stays "Actual" and accurate.
Please note: Reinstalling the app may lead to the removal of locally stored data, such as your Location History. Please ensure you have noted any important information before proceeding.
